Dinner with old colleagues of mine
I had dinner with my previous company’s colleagues. The restaurant was at Iidabashi very near my house. We met two persons, one was a female partner (P), who was a co-sigher of A company, the other was a male manager (Q) in charge of A company.
Q was nominated to potential partner’s group, in which future partners would be selected.
So, while we had dinner, we discussed how to make him look smarter in his presentation.
It has been one year since I left Deloitte. I thought I passed a long time apart from the competitive society. I was not confident in myself to give him good advice. However, as I soon remembered my old memories working for Deloitte, I didn’t feel it hard to talk to them. I strongly hoped that he would be a partner near future.
