WBC２
昨日、WBCの決勝戦が行われ、３－２で日本がアメリカを下し、14年ぶりの優勝を果たした。
個人的には不振の村上に変わって日本の４番を務めた吉田正尚が、最も勝利に貢献したと思うが、大谷翔平がMVPに輝いた。二刀流で共に実績を出し、最後１点差のリードの中、MLBの３人のMVPプレーヤを抑えたのだから、数字的にも文句がない。
さて、試合中の態度、振る舞い、メンタル、集中力、パフォーマンス、そして試合後のインタビューコメント、どれを取っても、同じ人間だとは思えない。
奇しくもビッグバピが「どこの惑星から来たのか」と質問していたが、あまりに突き抜け過ぎていて、誰もが彼の前にひれ伏すしかない。
アメリカのデローサ監督のコメント、ペドロ・マルチネスのコメントいずれも、もはや彼を人間だと思っていない。

WBC2
Yesterday the final of WBC was held. Japan beat the USA by a score of 3-2 and won the championship for the first time in 14 years they have come here.
I personally think Masataka Yoshida contributed the most to the championship of Japan. He batted in the fourth position of Japan in place of Murakami who slumped in the WBC games this time.
But Shohei Otani got the MVP. He performed both pitching and batting amazingly, and faced only three batters who were all MVP holders in the last inning by one up. So, he was the very MVP from a standpoint of statistics.
His attitude, behavior, mental roughness, concentration, performance in the game, and his interview comments after the game, all of them seemed humanly impossible.
By a curious coincidence, Big Papi asked him where he was from. He was so through the roof that everybody had no choice but to bow down to him.
